The demon that possessed Damien is inspired by the Darklighters from Charmed. However he's not a Charmed character despise sharing a name with a Darklighter in the series.

Strenghts
Dark orbing: The ability to teleport anywhere, except for the Heavens
Sensing: The ability to sense other beings
Apportation: The ability to summon items to himself, primarily his crossbow and arrows.
Touch of Death: Kills through touch
Quicker healing
Poisonous arrows: The arrows he fires are toxic and fatal to Whitelighters and other divine creature of similar power (like angels).

Weaknesses
Can be killed through vanquishing potions and spells.
Can be forcefully pushed out of Kieran's posessed body.
Able to get restrained and injured by silver.
Can be summoned through spells.
The crossbow is how Damien came to posess Kieran. As such he doesn't like to be separated from it.
Can also be restrained by salt. However as he's posessed and as such not truly supernatural items such as mountain ash doesn't affect him. Holy power will though.

Personality

Ciarán has a strong distrust towards governments and similar. He prefers to stay on the peripheral of society, often hanging with petty criminals in the lower classes. He's reserved and keeps a hard skin out towards the world. At the same time he occasionally breaks out of that shell and shows a bit of vulnerability. He's normally easy going. But if he gets too annoyed he may snap. He's not particularly violent or aggressive, preferring to talk himself but not without attitude. He's no puppy though and if pushed he will snap.

He's morally ambiguous.

He hasn't got much in the way of ambitions. He once had dreams about a better life for himself but by now he's defensive and cynical. He fit the image of a typical bad boy and angry anarchist.

Afraid of commitment and prefers casual sex over relationships.

He has gotten hurt before and as such he prefer to keep his more vulnerable and sensitive parts to himself. he's fiercely protective about his family, baring exceptions (parents and one of his sisters). If comfortable he gets cheeky.

He tend to seek out men mainly for casual sex. As far as relationships goes he's more likely to do so with women. Mostly cos the women he connects to tends to be more interested in relationships. He has run into more sex driven women but he tends to have a bit of prejudice against them cos of his sister. (Obviously I can tune down on this if preferred!) As for relationships with men, he wouldn't rule it out. But due to his own insecurities he tends to avoid it.

That said, over the last year or so he has gotten more secure in himself. He even considers that maybe he could settle down with a guy. He has been dealing with his own internalized homophobia.

Appearance

Ciarán is blond with hazel eyes. He's 6 feet tall and got a slim but athletic build. He has no visible tattoos (unlike his PB). he has a scar above his right eye and a larger one running down his right small leg. Both are faint having acquired them in his childhood. He has a thin beard and a bit of a brown-ish treasure trail. Besides some light hair on his arms and legs he lacks body hair.

History

He grew up in low class in a large family. Crime, tobacco and alcohol was introduced to him from an early age. However he despise those who relies on drug after seeing the damage it causes to people and families. He has managed to avoid going to prison but he has had a few run-ins in with the law. Growing up under this circumstances jaded him and made him cynical and chaotic. He prefers the thought of anarchy over government as he believes they are often corrupted and abusing their power.

Ciarán got four brothers and two sisters. ~~Two~~ One of his brothers are dead, Finn died at the early age of 13. Brendan was presumed dead until recently.

However his frustration makes him prone to want power for himself to change a society he finds ugly and awful.

A couple of big things has happened to Ciarán in the last year or so. His rebellious nature lead to him lashing out at society with the result being putting cars on fire and painting graffiti. In addition to that he'd some urban exploring which lead to him finding an old scroll and a batted crossbow. The scroll was written in Latin. Not knowing what it meant he looked to sell it. However his contact didn't fall through and instead the scroll was sold to much kinder hands. The scroll was in fact demonic in nature. After that incident he found the crossbow. Unfortunately said crossbow was cursed, leading him down a dark path. With both external and internal threats cropping up, like the discovery of supernatural beings, he got paranoid, which was further fueled by the demon in said crossbow. It eventually lead to him getting possessed. While possessed he murdered people until a young woman managed to find a way to release the demon's hold of him and vanquish it. The crossbow disappeared though.

He then fell in with a bad crowd which lead him to being pulled along for a break-in. Not knowing it was government property and the other two guys were part of a shadow group he ended up in trouble with the law. However this reached his big brother Craig Jr. whom works as a lawyer. Realizing the mess his little brother was in he took it upon himself to help him by setting Ciarán up with a good lawyer. He got a little overprotective though. Luckily for Ciarán the court ruled favorably for him and he was sentenced to community service rather than jail. However Craig did not let his eyes off Ciarán, pushing him along towards a better life in his eyes. While Cierán do appreciate his brother looking after him, although he won't admit that, he doesn't like how overprotective and bossy he's being.

Recently Brendan, a brother he thought dead returned back into their lives. He was suffering from a amnesia and had been kept as a POW. Their mother was delighted that Brendan was still alive. Ciarán was also extremely happy about it. However it also brought their father back around as he found out Brendan was back. This was something the brothers disliked. Brendan however is still unaware of how shitty their father had became after he was assumed dead.
